"Growing fruit at home shouldn't be guesswork. Every tree we sell is selected to thrive in Miami's climate, shallow soil, and humidity. Come walk the nursery this weekend!"

Plant the right combination of trees to enjoy fresh, organic fruit straight from your backyard every month of the year.
Unlike other states with soft loam, South Florida topsoil is often only 2 inches deep over solid oolitic limestone rock. If you plant in a shallow rock pocket, roots become bound and the tree stunts.
Our experienced crew brings professional rock-breaking equipment to dig the proper trenching, amends with rich organic compost, fertilizes with slow-release organic nutrients, and builds a proper mulch ring (kept safely off the trunk).
Breaking through solid caprock to give taproots room to anchor and access deep moisture.
High-grade composted mulch and mycorrhizal fungi to stimulate vigorous early root growth.
Formative pruning to keep mangoes and avocados compact, storm-ready, and easy to harvest.
Safe transport of delicate 7, 15, and 25-gallon specimen trees directly to your yard.
Don't throw plastic nursery pots into the landfill! Dylan offers store credit for clean 7, 15, and 25-gallon nursery containers and carrying trays. Drop them off at our Horse Country nursery anytime we're open.
Send us your questions, space size, or the trees you're looking for. Dylan or our nursery team will respond with personalized variety recommendations and availability.
Come stroll the nursery rows, see mature specimen trees, taste in-season fruits, and pick out your plants directly. Our nursery is located on a peaceful 1-acre property in southwest Miami.
Located right in Horse Country between Bird Rd and Miller Drive. Easy parking on site!

"One of the best choices for Miami homeowners with limited space. Pickering forms a naturally compact, dense canopy and produces heavy crops of coconut-sweet, fiberless mangos every summer."
